Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Before its conversion into a modern but rustic open-plan home, this luxury getaway was rumoured to have been used by English gentleman Sir Walter Raleigh to house his horses. Now minimalist and sleek, you're reminded of the place's history through touches like the exposed beams. Views of the rural surroundings vie for attention against the modern luxuries that leave no doubt that this home is contemporary in every way, though it still has charm to spare. Luxurious, modern and romantic, it’s the perfect bolthole for a couple looking for a special retreat in Cornwall. There are eleven beaches on this stretch of coast, so you can take your pick. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re a dedicated surfer or prefer to skim stones and keep your feet dry. Tolcarne Beach is a thirteen-minute drive, so when you’re ready to warm up after a day in the elements, you can nip back to the house easily. In the evening, stroll to the village pub – it’s two minutes away and your four-legged friend can accompany you. Sip local cider and plan the rest of your stay – will you set off on a boat trip from Newquay Harbour, or would you rather visit the zoo?
