This cosy home is perfect for country getaways for two. It’s a peaceful space that’s been renovated from an old schoolhouse – in the courtyard you can still spot some of the little ones’ markings. Perhaps the happy history of the home imbues it with a laid-back vibe, because this is a place for relaxing – and spending quality time together, of course. When you wake up in the morning after a comfortable night’s sleep, you’re greeted by a leafy view through the window. Take your morning coffee out to the south-facing courtyard and start your day by breathing in the fresh, country air. You might like to stroll seven minutes into the centre of Reepham to explore the charming market town. The market is held every Wednesday, and there are plenty of independent shops, cafes and pubs to visit. If you want to get out into the countryside that surrounds the home, you have plenty of options. You could drive ten minutes to the Marriott’s Way route – this 26-mile path between Norwich and Aylsham is wonderful on foot or by bike. The Broads National Park is thirty-four minutes away by car, and you can be paddling on Cromer...
