This unique home stretches over an archway that was once the south entrance to Heacham Hall, an 18th-century house lost to a fire. As such, this picturesque period cottage – built with traditional Norfolk chalk and carrstone – is a Grade II listed property. The unique shape of this cottage makes it instantly charming, with cosy sloped ceilings keeping the heat in. We love how the pretty pink decor and use of vintage furniture add to the romantic feel – after a day exploring the Norfolk coast, it’s the perfect place to spend a cosy evening in. Cuddle up in front of the electric stove with a book, a glass of wine and unwind. In the sunny months, a private garden with a barbecue and loungers has you covered. In terms of location, you’re overlooking the village green and across to St Mary’s Church, letting you know it’s a short walk into the centre of Heacham for shops, cafés and country pubs. From here, it’s also a short drive or half-hour walk to Heacham South Beach, and an even quicker drive to the golf course.
