This lovely cottage is a hidden gem, just a five-minute walk from the famously picturesque village of Snape. The snug living room, complete with a wood-burning stove and views of the surrounding fields, is sure to relax and comfort you after an active day, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to whip up delicious meals. The furniture in your private garden means you can have breakfast among the birds and the trees, looking out at the tranquil greenery stretching all around you. When you muster up the energy to leave, we recommend grabbing a coffee and taking a boat trip from the historic quay. For those who prefer to travel by foot, there is a wonderful boarded walkway along the river that takes you all the way to Aldeburgh. The fish and chips there are world-class. Aldeburgh has some great spots for dinner if you plan to stay all day – L'Escargot Sur Mer is a must-visit – then return in the evening for a glass of wine by the fire.
