Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

You'll find this home on Aldeburgh's prestigious terrace, perfectly placed for enjoying everything this seaside town has to offer. The elegant coastal-inspired colour palette makes for a refined twist on the classic seaside atmosphere – we loved how relaxing and serene the living area felt, especially with a log-burner crackling on chilly evenings. Each room is bathed in natural light, and the kitchen is no exception, with clever skylights overhead and bi-fold doors opening onto the patio. On summer evenings, fire up the barbecue, pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy a delicious alfresco feast. If we had to choose, however, we'd say our favourite room was the main bedroom – willow-patterned wallpaper and a sumptuous bed add a true sense of luxury that's hard to resist. But the excellent location takes our top spot. In the mornings, take a leisurely five-minute stroll through the backstreets of ice cream-coloured cottages to get to Aldeburgh's shingle beach. When the weather is warm, enjoy a swim in the ocean (we know we did), or simply enjoy a lunch of fish and chips right by the water if it's a bit too chilly to dip your toes – it's no secret that Aldeburgh has the best in Suffolk. Make sure to discover the restaurants, pubs and independent shops on the high street, too – they're all within walking distance.

About Aldeburgh

When the sun sets on Aldeburgh, the pastel-coloured houses that line the shore seem to glow and the pebbled beach takes on a rainbow hue. Here, the buildings come right up to the beach, so you just need to hop over the coastal wall to reach the sea. The seaside town was once home to Benjamin Britten, and it still retains its creative pull, with the Aldeburgh Festival of Music...
