Situated in the heart of Southwold, this home has plenty to see and do within easy walking distance. We think it's the perfect spot to make the most of the Suffolk coast – the beach is a seven-minute walk away, where you can stroll along the upper promenade with its landmark lighthouse and colourful huts that line the shore. Award-winning eateries, independent boutiques, charming pubs and tasty fish and chip shops flank the high street, while Tibby's Green has a playground ideal for little ones and green spaces to sprawl out for a picnic. Equally light and cheery is this homely cottage. Blending modern Scandi design with more traditional features, the interior is welcoming and utterly cosy. With its decorative exposed brick mantel, the lounge is one of our favourites – after a seaside walk, snuggle up on seafoam green sofas and unwind with a movie and a glass of wine. The kitchen is a little small, but it's well-equipped for cooking lighter fare. As an added bonus, there's a small courtyard ideal for afternoon teas and cocktail hours in the summer sun – we can't think of a better way to end the day than with an evening tipple in...

About Southwold

Visiting Southwold as a child is an experience you’ll never forget, and you’re unlikely to as an adult either. The pier, with its traditional pavilion, might look like any other late-Victorian pier from the outside, but it’s a must-visit in this seaside town.
