Sitting next to the pretty village green, this second-floor apartment in Southwold is an excellent choice for exploring the many delights this area has to offer. The home enjoys a unique view over red-brick rooftops towards the old lighthouse – this impressive structure landmarks the promenade, where you can stroll along the seafront and admire rows of colourful beach huts. At home, the tasteful interior echoes its coastal location with inviting shades of blue and grey, while the open-plan living space offers the perfect spot to gather and unwind after activity-filled days. Spend some time exploring the postcard-perfect town with its rich list of independent shops, seafood restaurants and traditional pubs. On sunny days, kids will love playing on the shingle and sand beach, and if you’re brave enough, a dip in the North Sea is sure to energise and lift your spirits. The home’s modern kitchen is well-equipped for whipping up some fresh finds from the local weekly market, however with the Adnams Brewery and fish and chip shops aplenty within a five-minute walk, you may spend more time out than in.
