Gather up all your loved ones – there's room for all fourteen of you at this beautiful old barn, with stunning panoramic views over the Blyth estuary and just ten minutes from the coast. Designed by the award-winning architect Richard Griffiths (and doesn't it just show), there's heaps of space for you to spill out here with two self-contained wings. The two open-plan kitchens and living areas make cooking a joy (as do the views of the estuary seen through the windows) and are placed on either side of the building – each with a log burner and TV, so there's no need to fight over the remote here. Four bedrooms on the ground floor feature expansive windows to let in the all-encompassing countryside views, and there are another four cosy nooks upstairs in the barn's former rafters. Step outside, and the huge private garden is all yours to enjoy, with seating for everyone on the patio. It's a perfect, secluded spot to eat outdoors, take in the views of the estuary at sunset, and watch for the plentiful wildlife. If you'd rather skip cooking, the barn is a short walk from the charming village pub and a small shop in Bulcamp. Or jump in the car and nip over to the classy seaside town of Southwold – it's just a ten-minute drive.
