This collection of three barns in the Suffolk countryside, sleeping up to twenty, is the ultimate destination for a large family get-together. Despite being former agricultural outbuildings from the twelfth century, these conversions have a real cosy country cottage vibe, thanks to their chintzy decor, olde-world feel and comfy living-dining spaces with wood burning stoves. Located in Wattisham, near Stowmarket, each cottage comes with its own barbecue and hot tub. Whichever one you stay in, you'll have access to great walks, wildlife spotting and day trips to Sutton Hoo or the Suffolk coast at Aldeburgh and Southwold. A stay here is fantastic for all ages, with shared use of a games room (including ping pong and pool tables) and an on-site playground for younger guests, while those more established guests can simply relax with a glass of wine by the moat.
