The first thing you’ll want to do when you step into this home is snap a photo of that incredible view. Tucked into the Pyrenees mountains, this chalet-style apartment looks out over the Baquiera slopes, so you’ll get a sneak preview of the challenging red runs and meandering blues from your window. Baqueira Beret is a ski resort fit for a king (it’s former king, Juan Carlos’, resort of choice) and has runs for all levels. Spend mornings with a cup of coffee on the large terrace while you take in the scenery. Once you’re booted up for the day, this apartment is right next to the ski lift, so you can enjoy practically ski in/ski out access. After a day on the slopes, or perhaps a day just exploring the stylish aprés ski bars of the resort, relax in the stylish living area, designed with local stone and slate, while you gaze out over the snow-capped mountains. Fur blankets and fireplaces are what the mountains are all about.
