Ibiza, Majorca, Barcelona - these are all Spanish destinations famous for style and flair. Gran Canaria? With its lunar landscapes, rugged mountains and quaint seaside towns, not so much. Or, at least that’s what we thought until we saw this home. A fairy godmother with a serious eye for design must have waved her magic wand across this semi-detached villa, creating an on-trend and luxurious oasis by the sea. The result is joyful pops of pastel colour (canary yellow, warm turquoise), hip furniture and playful artwork. But even the cheerful interior can’t compare with what’s outside. Past the sparkling pool with plenty of seating and in-built barbecue you’ll find a little gate which leads straight from the garden to the beach. Heaven.
