Surrounded by the rolling hills of Cantarrijan National Park, this Andalusian-style villa offers an escape into nature. It’s tucked high into the mountainside, a peaceful getaway that’s far from the crowds. Outside, patios encircle the villa and open out onto views of the mountains and the Mediterranean – you’ll find your gaze being constantly drawn to the breath-taking panoramas. The swimming pool seems to be perched on a cliff edge, overlooking the sea. Sun-worshippers will likely lie out all day, occasionally dipping a toe into the water to cool down. Meanwhile, it’ll be difficult to get the kids out of the pool – it’s a haven. The alfresco dining area with a barbecue is the perfect place to unwind with family and friends. Languid lunches will turn into evenings spent dining under the stars, making memories that will last long after your tan has faded. Inside, you’ll find classic Andalusian decor, with tile floors and wood beams. The lower-ground floor houses a gym and a hot tub, so you can take your relaxation to the next level. Though it would make perfect sense for you to want to spend all of your time at the villa, it’s also perfectly placed for exploring. The popular town of Nerja is eighteen minutes away by car, with its beaches, bars and restaurants. Cala del Cañuelo is a lovely beach just seven minutes from the villa, so you can make it back in time to watch the sun set from the terrace. Bliss.
