Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
This charming home in the heart of Yorkshire is a real escape from reality. A traditional stone cottage in the village of Crayke, it’s got bags of character, plenty of style and next-level comfort. Take the living room, for example. Does anything sound cosier than sinking into the plush sofa and warming your feet on the glow from the wood-burner? The kitchen, complete with an AGA, is well-equipped for creating an impressive feast, which is just as well as there are excellent dining spaces to choose from here. The dining room, with its original fireplace, has an atmospheric feel, but in the summer, a leisurely dinner in the wild-flower filled garden is a delight. There are outstanding walks and cycle trails nearby, an award-winning pub (The Durham Ox) is a 200m dander away, and for history and culture, York is a 14-mile drive.
