With the charm of a seaside cottage and a touch of Victorian grandeur, this shingle-clad terraced house makes a fantastic coastal escape. Its pastel-painted walls, iron bedsteads and original fireplaces give an overall feeling of sophisticated comfort, a nod to the history of seaside escapes when jaunts to the coast were reserved for the upper crust. You’re sure to feel pretty sophisticated yourself while lounging by the fire in the cosy living room or relaxing in the roll-top bath after a day at the beach (Sheringham’s is just five minutes away). In Sheringham itself, you’ll find an indoor pool complex (for when the sea’s a bit cold), plus a golf course, pubs, tea shops and The North Norfolk Steam Railway. Returning to the home, you’ll find that particular attention has been paid to family-friendly entertainment, particularly in the open-plan living room where ample amenities and cosy fires can be found. Kids will squeal with delight when they find the selection of toys and games included too.
