This renovated cottage in the hamlet of Burgh Stubbs sings with tradition and comfort. Barn-style doors and vaulted ceilings bring an old-fashioned warmth to what is also a very stylish, modern cottage conversion. You’ll want to make your breakfast a long and luxurious one, thanks to the expansive kitchen with its range-style cooker and oak table. Once you’ve delegated the washing up, grab your book and sit in the garden under the shade of the willow tree, or choose from a selection of games to add some competitive spirit to the day. In preparation for an evening barbecue, head to the renowned butcher’s shop in Melton Constable, just two miles away, and while you’re out, you can visit the galleries, shops and cafes in the Georgian town of Holt. Or, head straight to the coast for a wander along the north Norfolk coastline – the beaches of Wells-next-the-Sea, Sheringham and Cromer each have their own unique charms. Back at home, once you're fed and rested, you might like to gather in the garden and look up at the night sky – the rural location makes it a great place to do some stargazing.
