If you're looking for somewhere that embraces slow country living yet lies within easy reach of attractions, this converted barn set on a 120-acre farm is just the ticket. Built with traditional honey-coloured stone, it's full of rustic features inside. Vaulted ceilings sport original wooden beams, while a handmade oak staircase leads to a comfortable sitting room upstairs. Downstairs, a cosy snug with a fireplace is set off from the homey kitchen – perfect for resting weary legs after a day of sightseeing. If you're not up for cooking, your hosts can arrange on-site catering, or you can dine at one of the charming pubs in nearby Chipping Campden, an eleven-minute drive away. On lazy days, stroll around the farm, taking in the panoramic views while children enjoy the outdoor play area. Or make the twenty-minute drive to Stratford-upon-Avon and explore the birthplace of the Bard.
