A proper British summer holiday deserves a proper seaside cottage - and this white clapboard home is a quiet bolthole on one of the UK's favourite beaches, Camber Sands. A five-minute walk from the surf, the home has been inspired by the sea, from the blue and white furnishings to the cute anchor wall hangings. Evenings are spend cuddled up in front of the electric fire in the living-kitchen area, with the wine fridge a short stroll from the sofa. While it's not the biggest space, the numerous fish and chip shops on the doorstep will mean not much time is spent at the dining table anyway. Bedrooms are bright and cosy, with plush velvet headboards and white shutters to keep the sunlight out, perfect for getting a good night's sleep before another day exploring Camber Sands.
