Straight out of a fairytale, this cosy home is perfect for a romantic getaway with your beloved. The quaint thatched cottage in the Cumbrian village of Laversdale is surrounded by colourful gardens bursting with roses and kniphofia, where you can dine out on the patio and watch the sun go down over the distant Pennines. It’s surprisingly modern inside, with a fully equipped kitchen and a stylish bathroom with a walk-in shower and illuminated mirror. Head upstairs and you’ll find a relaxing space for just the two of you, where a leather seating area (complete with flat-screen TV) leads into an intimate sleeping area with an inviting king-size bed and an ornate bureau.
