Nestled into the mountainside, this isn't your average French chalet. This incredible home was built in 2020 and has a contemporary industrial vibe with a mix of concrete, wood, marble and stainless steel finishes. Select a book from the Charlotte Perriand-inspired library and curl up on one of the comfy sofas or admire the view from the panoramic windows. After a day of skiing or hiking, relax with a brandy in front of the stylish fireplace. Later on, cook a feast of French delicacies in the sleek kitchen, or retire to the cosy TV room and watch your favourite movie. Surrounded by rolling meadows, the ski resort of Morzine is a lively destination with a vibrant après scene. Here you can do all the usual winter activities such as snowmobiling, tobogganing and skiing, as well as ice-diving at nearby Lac de Montriond. This Alpine town is a year-round option, though, with many shops, bars and walking trails nearby.
