Rest and reset at this charming country home located in the quintessential Cotswold village of Upper Oddington, and just a six-minute drive from Stow-on-the-Wold. A house begging for a large group of friends or family to come together, there's ample space to spill out and relax here. After days of adventure, kick off your boots in the downstairs utility, fold back the mighty glass doors in the living space, and pad out into the manicured, enclosed gardens. While kids (and big kids) climb the treehouse or let off steam on the trampoline, come together around the impressive bar and barbecue area – the heat lamps and drinks cooler will help keep the night flowing. On chiller days, sneak off to find a cosy nook beside the log-burning stove in the snug room (complete with SKY TV and DVDs for when it's time to crash out). And as night falls, come together for an evening tipple from the honesty drinks tray before flexing your culinary skills in the made-for-action kitchen. Or skip cooking entirely and mosey down to one of three traditional inns, all within walking distance, or a little further, Daylesford Organic farm shop, spa, and restaurant (twenty minutes on foot). The award-winning local produce and pizzas alone are worth the hike.
