Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Close to many of Lucca’s must-see locales, this recently renovated home expertly fuses modern artistry with vintage sensibility. We love the eclectic furnishings, with pieces like mirrored cabinets, crystal chandeliers and velvet ottomans sitting alongside bohemian rugs, rattan chairs and quirky artwork. But if we had to pick our favourite bit of decor, it would have to be the old-world cartography in the kitchen’s dining nook, primed to inspire your next adventure over morning cortados. The all-marble bathroom deserves full marks for luxury, while the sunny balcony is the place to be to really capture the charm of Tuscan apartment living as you perch at the petite table with a pastry and put your Italian skills to work on the morning paper. When it’s time to go exploring, you’ll find key sights and piazzas nearby, as well as the train station – or take advantage of the complex’s dedicated parking and hit the road in a zippy hired Fiat to discover the Italian countryside.

There’s a buzzy nightlife scene centred around cool enotecas and craft beer bars. On Via Fillungo, you’ll find some of Lucca’s finest boutiques, with high-end...
