Neatly nestled into the heart of secluded countryside, this inviting cottage offers the perfect base camp from which to explore a series of local Welsh wonders. While peaceful rolling hills and expansive grassy fields surround the home as far as the eye can reach, the real adventure begins as you journey out into the natural setting of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Famous for its hiking trails and jaw-dropping scenery, its caves and rugged mountain peaks offer much to be discovered while visiting this magical part of the world. Although you’ll feel miles away from it all, nearby amenities are just a short drive away along with a golf course and the ruins of the 13th century Llandovery Castle. At home, a warm welcome awaits in the Viking-esque wood and stone cottage where the modern and the traditional merge to create an authentic country home with an updated finish. Beamed ceilings, a hearty log fire and a large farmhouse-style kitchen and dining area create a sense of occasion for downtime indoors and well-deserved feasts around the candle-lit table. A generous red sofa wrapped around the living space is perfect for squeezing in the whole party for a movie night or a round of games, and the shared garden offers a Whirlpool hot tub to soak those aching muscles while taking in the view. You’ll also have access to some private outdoor space with a patio furnished with an alfresco dining area and a barbecue to make the most of warm summer evenings.
