Plonked right on the Torremirona golf course, this home is a perfect base from which to explore the densely forested landscapes of the Paratge Natural l'Albera and Parc Natural de la Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa, both within an hour's drive. There is also plenty to do right on your doorstep, from quaint shops to bakeries and butchers. If you're chasing the waves, there are sandy beaches a short drive away with access to water sports, as well as a skydiving centre if you really are chasing the rush. After a day packed with activities, return home to your villa and kick back on the comfortable patio chairs. The light, bright interiors are filled with eclectic art and sculpture, though we wouldn't blame you for abandoning them in favour of the pool. Cook up dinner at the outdoor stove, and don't forget the sangria.
