It's not often we notice a shower – but then not many homes have a glass-fronted shower with views across the Mediterranean. Built into a cliff over the sea, this amazing multi-storey villa has clear, uninterrupted vistas at seemingly every angle. Soak in the jet bathtub as the sun sets, cool off in the private pool overlooking the craggy shoreline, or simply chill out on one of the bedroom's balconies with a good book. There are hiking routes, beaches and several historic monuments a 10-minute drive away, though if you want to soak up the Spanish sunshine on one of the sun loungers instead, we won't blame you. There is a large kitchen on the lower floor, but with its sea background and fresh breeze, the outdoor BBQ is perfect for rustling up feasts. The final flourish goes to the indoor bar; mix cocktails and then head back out for star spotting on one of the many terraces.
