If you’re looking for a Palm Springs home that’s fabulous with a capital F, you just found it. Inspired by the iconic 90s movie, The Birdcage, it’s Miami glam meets the desert with an extra sprinkle of sass. The living space is a candy-coloured confection, centred around a glitzy light-up marquee sign, with kitsch detailing everywhere you look. Each bedroom has a different theme, from peacock plumes to flamingo-pink palms. Whether you’re channelling Armand, Agador or Albert, there’s an aesthetic to suit you. The backyard is the cherry on top, with a mural of the Birdcage bus stop – complete with a newspaper stand – a sparkling pool, barbecue grill and a hot tub. Best of all, you’re just five minutes from downtown Palm Springs, so once the sun has set, pick your most extra outfit and hit the cocktail bars.
