This bright and modern apartment is a great base for exploring all that Rome has to offer. It's definitely on the compact side but it is very cleverly designed to make good use of every inch of space. We love the clean lines and bright accents of colour throughout but the real jewel in the crown of this home is undoubtedly the roof terrace. A great place for sunbathing during the day, the terrace boasts a most impressive view of St Peter's Basilica Dome, that gets even more stunning when lit up at night. This home is absolutely ideal for romantic getaways.

Home truths
Guests 3 & 4 will be on a sofa-bed in the already quite snug living room (it can officially sleep 4 but it's much more comfortable for 2)
The stairs up to the terrace are quite steep - it's not accessible to wheelchair users and might be a bit precarious for the elderly or young children
The home is on the compact side overall

About Prati
Prati sits cheek by jowl with Vatican City - not that you would necessarily know from within. The newest of Rome's districts, built between 1873-1921, its road plan was designed so that none of the streets would have St. Peter’s Dome in the background, a reflection of the tension between the new Italian state and the Vatican during its construction. Once a verdant area of meadows, vegetable gardens and vineyards,...
