Is there any Italian city with more romance than Florence? Within walking distance of the dreamy historic centre, this angular, modern apartment provides a crisp contrast to its setting. There’s a calm colour scheme, lifted by pops of colour, and an open-plan living space that would work perfectly for a family. Based on the ground floor of the building, there’s the bonus of a paved garden (a rarity for such a central location). We can see ourselves enjoying a spot of breakfast alfresco before heading out to discover renaissance delights galore. In the evening, return to the garden for an aperitif and some antipasti before strolling out to explore the local restaurants.
