Everyone knows and loves Padstow. With its fishing village charm, scenic harbour and thriving restaurant scene, it's been a staple of the Cornish holiday industry forever. But this rather grand converted school house offers something a little different from the traditional fisherman's cottage. Imposing and historic, in parts it looks more like a church than a former school – and we just love the feature windows in the master suite. The furnishings are cottage-cosy and the country kitchen is the perfect spot to put together some cream teas to enjoy on the patio. Location is key here; the nearby beaches are perfect for playful summer days and long winter rambles, or take the little foot ferry across to the trendy beach at Rock. You're just a stroll away from the pretty harbour, where you can watch the fishing boats come in with the catch of the day, and all of Padstow's boutiques, pubs and fabulous restaurants are right on your doorstep.
