Perched on a hill in the old village of Pedona, this home is set between the mountains and the sea. Rustic and enchanting, you won't find any swimming pools or hot tubs here, instead ancient oak beams and flagstone floors cradle a home that looks untouched since the turn of the last century. Though it has of course been updated for modern comfort, the atmosphere remains about as authentic as you can get. Whether you’re gathering for family dinner around the vintage table, snoozing in the small garden, or gazing out at the sea views in the distance, this home is a real departure from modern life and a much-needed revert to la dolce vita. From here, it's just a twelve-minute drive to the beautiful city of Camaiore, or head in the opposite direction to get to the beach at Viareggio in around the same time.
