This quintessentially Cypriot retreat welcomes you with a brilliant white, cuboid exterior complemented by an azure, mosaic-tiled pool that beckons you to jump straight in. Here, it’s all about relaxation – spend days lounging poolside on rattan furniture or step out onto the upper terrace with a cocktail in hand to watch the sun sink over the Aegean Sea. The laidback feel continues inside, with white walls, cool marble floors and pops of oceanic colours. There are artistic touches too, with one of our favourite features being the intricately patterned monochrome tiles that ornament the contemporary kitchen. When it’s time to step outside, you’ll find Ayia Napa full of historic charm, a quaint village where a medieval monastery and its peaceful cloisters can stand side by side with a thriving restaurant and bar scene.
