Take a step back in time at this 18th-century estate, overlooking the rolling Tuscan countryside. With gorgeous outdoor space and stunning views for miles, it's the perfect place to press pause and relax. The estate is actually composed of two separate homes, meaning there's plenty of room for everyone to enjoy some peace and quiet. The old timber beams and brick arches give you a taste of how it must have looked in bygone days, and the open fireplaces add to the rustic charm. One of our favourite spots has to be outside under the gazebo – take it from us, it’s a glorious place for your morning coffee. The historical cities of Florence, Lucca, and Pisa are all within driving distance, so this is the perfect opportunity to tick them all off your bucket list. Even closer to home, you can explore the many charms of San Gimignano, the hilltop town with a rich history. Busy days of sightseeing can be offset with peaceful bicycle rides or perhaps a Chianti vineyard tour. And, you can always take a bottle of red back to the house to enjoy on the terrace after a few lengths in the swimming pool –... perfection.
