Only five minutes' drive from London City Airport and ten minutes' walk from the ExCeL Centre, this apartment could be an ideal option for those travelling to the UK's capital for business matters, but we think those coming for pleasure will also find much to like about the home. The long, open-concept living-kitchen area benefits from a large set of glass doors running across the far side that bathes the whole space in natural light, which is emphasised by the white walls and wooden floors. At the other end of the room, you'll find both a minimalist kitchen dominated by glossy black surfaces, as well as a smart wooden table and accompanying benches. Add in a pair of simply appointed bedrooms each with a Juliet balcony and a sleek grey bathroom, and you have an address that scores high in the style stakes. An added bonus comes in the shape of a small outdoor terrace with some seating for lapping up the sun's rays, although there's also a park three minutes' walk from the home. Sticking to this side of London, the O2 Arena and the shops and restaurants surrounding take just over twenty minutes to reach on the tube, while just beyond that are the historic museums and sprawling parkland of Greenwich.
