Be the king of your castle at this impressive villa – we love its clifftop location – the views of the rocky Sicilian landscape are incredible. In the morning, head straight out of the bedroom to the balcony, admire the vistas, and then go for a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. Later laze in the hammock with a good book amongst the fragrant olive trees or take a stroll around the extensive grounds. A stone pathway leads to a secret hot tub on the cliffside. Built of stone, with its classic wooden shutters and wrought-iron balcony, this home is quintessentially Italian. Inside, a blend of terracotta floor tiles, white-washed walls and traditional furnishings create a comfy home to relax in. If you fancy exploring the surrounding countryside, bicycles are provided or check out the UNESCO-listed city of Modica 10 kilometres away. For a day at the beach, it’s around a twenty-minute drive to the golden sands of Pozzallo – perfect for topping up your tan.
