With the Tramuntana mountains on one side and the Puig St Maria monastery on the other, this whitewashed finca is a slice of peace and quiet in the heart of Mallorca. The large, verdant gardens are ripe for exploring, though we won't blame you if you stop your adventures upon reaching the private pool. Overlooking the inviting waters is a wraparound terrace that features a big dining table and wicker chairs, perfect for early-evening feasts cooked on the barbecue. Some of the original features of the building are still on show inside, like the beamed ceilings and wooden shutters, but otherwise, the design is contemporary in style, with cleansingly white walls and an equally dazzling kitchen. The bedrooms have an almost chalet-like feel with their wooden walls and mountain views – and with the lack of noise, it's hard to believe you're only a twenty-minute drive from the thriving Port De Pollença. Elsewhere in the locale, the old town of Pollença lies only ten minutes' drive away and there's a market held every Sunday from which you can pick up some locally-grown ingredients.
