Award-winning architect Jamie Serra uses his love of sailing and swimming to create dream-worthy homes in Ibiza – and this stylish plot in Cap Martinet is no exception. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows flood bedrooms with light, while sliding doors can be pushed all the way back to create an open-sided living room. A bright yellow sofa occupies most of this space – and rather than facing the TV, it looks straight out over the infinity pool. The modern kitchen has views of the water too, with glimpses of the glistening sea just visible over the palm trees. Interiors mesh the white Balearic style with influences from India. A painted elephant statue sits next to multi-coloured cloth deck chairs on the outdoor patio, a taxidermy peacock keeps an eye on proceedings in an open double bedroom, and intricate tapestries hang above a white bed.
