It’s plain to see how much care and effort has gone into the recent restoration of this traditional Mallorcan farmhouse, which has been transformed into a dream getaway. Stained wooden rafters, stone interior walls and high arched doorways make this home feel like a natural extension of the island’s wild inland scenery, but you'll find a wealth of contemporary touches, too. The large kitchen is dominated by sleek surfaces and finishes, while the white walls and floors throughout lend a strong sense of brightness. We're also particularly fond of the glass showers and inbuilt baths found in each of the bedrooms. The home's exterior is equally impressive. Surrounded by trees and leafy palms, the oasis-like pool is a peaceful place for a paddle on a summer's afternoon. With only three other homes in the local hamlet, you can be assured of some solitude, but when you fancy entering civilisation again at any point, the town of Port d'Alcúdia and its beach can be reached in under twenty minutes by car.
