Retaining its original exposed stone structure and terracotta thatched roof, this villa stands tall just outside the small village of Alberoro. Spend mornings relaxing on the lush lawns by the private pool, where sprigs of lavender lend an air of tranquillity. Fire up the gas barbecue for an alfresco lunch in the courtyard, with striking views over the rural landscapes of the Aretine Val di Chiana and its surrounding villages. Large white umbrellas cover the many outdoor seating areas here, to shade you from the Mediterranean sun as you enjoy the views. Inside, this rustic home has luxurious touches throughout, including beautiful bathrooms with painted walls, blue velvet sofas, a 12-seater wrought iron dining table and a piano. As well as two separate living rooms, there's a light-filled library with comfy sofas, and a games room with foosball and a poker table. If you can tear yourself away, you’ll be just a short drive away from the quaint medieval town of Arezzo.
