Four Hundred Olives

  • 9 guests

  • 4 bedrooms

  • 2 bathrooms

Expertly and lovingly renovated by the architect Claudia Palazzetti in 1996, this traditional 17th-century home has benefitted beautifully from Italian heart and passion. A picture of its historic glory, this charming villa is immersed in the idyllic Monte San Bartolo nature park, surrounded by oleanders, cypresses, hawthorns and over four hundred olive trees – to walk around here is to join a pocket of nature’s tranquility. The home’s rustic living space is a real delight to spend time in, with wood beam ceilings, exposed stone walls, terracotta-tiled flooring and comfy sofas. Mastering the balance of indoor-outdoor living, there's an abundance of spots to enjoy a coffee or catch up on literature in the country air. Wake up with breakfast on the sun terrace and catch a view of the Castello di Gradara, then cool off with a dip in your private pool before enjoying a long lunch in the sun. Whether you’re a “hill person” or a “beach person”, you really couldn’t be better placed, with the lush Marche-Romagna region on your doorstep and the sandy Sirolo beach just a short five-minute drive across the Valley.
