We do love a home with character, and this place has it in spades. Tucked away in its own gated compound, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, this eclectic gem is a timeless work of art. Boho-luxe styling, colourful fabrics, bold artwork, vintage furniture – you name it, it's here. Inside, we're talking big squishy sofas, countless armchairs and rustic dining tables, with bags of space to entertain your guests, while a separate office, dedicated library and multiple nooks allow you to easily slip off for some peace and quiet. But this place really comes into its own outdoors. Imagine serving up alfresco meals on the candle-lit terrace, sipping cocktails around the 15ft outdoor fireplace or leafing through a book on a garden sofa, surrounded by tropical plants. The real surprise is that here you’re actually bang in the middle of bustling Venice, with the iconic boardwalk, beach and eateries all within easy walking distance.
