Lovingly renovated by its owners, this home in Highbury has benefitted beautifully from their utmost care and attention. It’s hard to believe that this imposing Victorian terrace was once little more than a wreck, but thanks to the wisdom and skill of its owners, it’s been returned to its former glory – with some modern-day additions, of course. The home’s open-plan living area is an absolute delight, complete with an extension at the back of the house that allows light to stream in, illuminating a family area right in front of the kitchen’s dark and moody modern cabinets. Through the French doors and you’ll find a landscaped garden complete with wooden decking and a paved terrace at the top of the garden that will be calling your name come cocktail hour. Back inside and pendant lights swing dramatically low over the large dining table, while you can find books and art just about everywhere. At the front of the house, there’s a more formal living room that we think would be great for family movie nights or cosy evenings with a glass of red wine. You’ll find four bedrooms upstairs, but the pièce de resistance has to be the freestanding... metal bath in the en-suite master bathroom. Please note all stays of 8 nights or more include complimentary weekly cleaning, linen changes and replenishment of toiletries.
