On a leafy street near Holland Park, you'll find this home hidden in the rooftops of a beautiful Georgian house. Sun simply spills into this apartment and, with its high ceilings and elegant furnishings, it's a slice of peace. Everything tastes better outside – step through the French doors and out onto the balcony. With its Mary Poppins skyline and little bistro table, it's the perfect spot for a quiet dinner overlooking the gardens below. When it comes to exploring the area, nothing beats spending a morning wandering up Holland Park Avenue towards Notting Hill or taking the winding backstreet route to Portobello Road past ice-cream coloured townhouses. Our personal recommendation? Stop in at the green lantern-lit Daunt Bookshop and pick up an Italian picnic from Speck Delicatessen before heading to the park.
