Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

You’ll be tipping your hat to this wonderful stay – once home to one of Kensington’s finest milliners, this unique building is now the perfect family townhouse set across five floors. It’s also got an envy-inducing location – right between the two green spaces of Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, you need only stretch your legs for all of six minutes before you hit the perfect picnicking spot. A quick five minutes' walk from the boutiques, bars, and restaurants of Kensington High Street, you'll be right next to the city's action and well-connected to the rest of London by tube from High Street Kensington station. Despite this oh-so-central location, we love how peaceful the space feels. With its elegant furnishings and bold paintings, it's certainly somewhere we'd want to hang up our hat at the end of a long day. The main living area benefits from large sash windows that nearly reach the high ceilings, creating a bright and unencumbered place to lounge. The kitchen cabinetry warms the otherwise white space with its honey-hued wood, and there’s room for a home-cooked meal at the mid-century modern dining room set. With four bedrooms to choose from, there’s plenty of space for the whole family – or friends – although we do think there’ll be some competition for that master suite on the top floor, complete with a mint green roll top bathtub and a view of the city’s roofs. Please note all stays of 8 nights or more include complimentary weekly cleaning, linen changes and replenishment of toiletries.

About Kensington

Affluent and incredibly central, Kensington is a great base for exploring London on foot. Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are on your doorstep and so are the Victoria and Albert, Science, and Natural History Museums. The streets are attractive and well maintained (grand, white stucco facades aplenty) and your neighbours will be a wealthy, conservative set. Lots of positives but probably not the place to let your hair down.
