Spend an unforgettable holiday in the Cotswolds at this cosy apartment within a beautifully converted barn. The flat is perfect for couples or small families – the single bedroom is just about the right fit for a teenager who'd appreciate some privacy. Wooden floors, unpretentious furniture and mod cons make you feel at home as soon as you step through the door. We totally dig the numerous animal sculptures and the framed vintage prints, which give the place its own quirky vibe. Sleep like an angel in the serenely quiet bedroom and wake up to birdsong before firing up the coffeemaker, whipping up a quick breakfast as you plan what to do with your day. Outside, miles of rolling countryside await, ready to be explored by bike or on foot. Whatever your preferred method of transport, you won't be let down. Put on your hiking boots, grab a pair of binoculars for birdwatching and don't forget the waterproofs – this is England, after all. By evening, you'll have worked up quite the appetite, so make the fifteen-minute drive to Daylesford Organic Farm to stock up on local produce and bring home bags of ingredients so you can enjoy a quiet... meal by the log burner. If you feel too lazy to cook, the village has several cafes and a fantastic dog-friendly pub over the road, where you can mingle with the locals over a pint.
