While many people come to Dorset for the great outdoors, Bournemouth is a bustling city on the south coast – a hub for surfers, sunbathers, and art fans alike. This cosy home is located just thirteen minutes from Russell Cotes Art Gallery and twelve from the Pavilion Theatre. But don’t worry, you can still experience the classic seaside vibe with a portion of fish and chips on Bournemouth Beach, fourteen minutes away. Cheerful, modern, and colourful, this apartment feels far from a coastal hideaway. Upon arrival, there’s nothing more welcoming than a generous hamper from your host, packed full of local goodies. While you nibble something from the selection of treats, wander around to explore the elegant decor. Matte velvet furnishings create a rich, regal feel in your living space, while wicker chairs and features bring things back down to earth with a rustic edge. We love the bright windows which you can fling open to let in some sea air. Pour yourself a cup of Earl Grey and take a seat in your zen-like space – or perhaps a glass of something fizzy after sunset.

About Bournemouth

In a sign of its revitalising powers, Bournemouth was originally envisioned as a health resort – city-dwellers would flock to the seaside town during the summer to enjoy its warmer climate and breath in the sea air. Today, the town features a vibrant blend of international visitors, students, and older locals, while still feeling distinctly British – come in the heat and enjoy a bustling summer culture of festivals, or...
