Situated in the vibrant neighbourhood of Park Slope, this loft-style apartment is the perfect New York hangout spot for anyone new to the city or even those with a few visits already under their belt. Taking up the two top floors of a renovated property that dates back to the 1890s, the apartment manages to mix contemporary furnishings and modern artworks with some elegant original features, such as the exposed brick fireplace and wooden flooring. As well as looking stylish on the surface, there's a welcome range of entertainment options too, including the foosball table and children's toys. The presence of a small balcony with seating is sure to be appreciated during the height of summer. Although Manhattan only takes twenty-five minutes to reach on the train, there's plenty to see and do on this side of the East River. Prospect Park takes just over five minutes to reach on foot and offers everything from a zoo and botanical gardens to picnic spots and a roller rink. There are also farmers' markets and restaurants serving cuisine from across the globe to be discovered nearby.
