History meets luxury at this New Orleans apartment with characterful exposed brick walls and 20” ceilings. The original building was an automobile showroom in the 1920s and has since undergone a masterful renovation. The open-plan living area features a comfortable sofa set beside two large, fully restored windows that provide the home with abundant light. The kitchen has been carefully stocked with everything from olive oil and spices to a coffee maker and a blender, so you won’t have to sweat the small stuff should you choose to whip up breakfast for the group. There’s a good chance you’ll opt for the city’s famed beignets though – the buzzing bars and restaurants of Bourbon Street are only a 15-minute walk away and New Orleans’ much-loved Creole cuisine has more than enough singular dishes to try out during your stay. In the afternoon, work out in the small gym room before relaxing on the shared rooftop patio overlooking the city skyline. Then it’s time to head back to the French Quarter and soak in Jazz music at the local clubs over a Sazerac (or two).

About New Orleans

New Orleans is one lively city – whether we’re talking food, candy-coloured architecture or nightlife, there’s nowhere else in the United States – or even the world – quite like this Louisianan cultural mecca. You’ll find indigenous cuisine here that hybridizes Caribbean, African and European influences – so embrace your inner hedonist and dive head first into Gumbo, beignets and po’ boys. It’s a city where jazz is as prevalent...
