Kitsch is the new chic in this funky apartment set within a converted mews house. The owners clearly thought outside the box when it came to decorating, and the result is a real charmer of a London pad. We love the soaring ceilings, eclectic artwork and ornate antique furniture as much as the mod cons. Upon arrival, recharge your batteries with a sip of wine and tasty bites – a welcome gift from your host. Speaking of food, both Fulham Road and Kings Road are less than a five-minute walk away, along with an endless choice of shops, restaurants and pubs. Fulham Broadway station is also a quick stroll for easy access to the rest of central London. However, if you don’t feel like venturing too far out, there’s plenty nearby – a tantalising global menu of food in Earl’s Court, luxury shopping in Chelsea, and museum tours in South Kensington. When you can walk no more, retreat to your cosy digs. Evenings sat by the massive marble fireplace with a crackling flame are an absolute delight – so sit back and sip on some prosecco under the watchful gaze of the carved giraffe and pink flamingo.

Local guide
About Fulham
Fulham’s village feels and riverside location earns it a top spot in our books. Nestled slightly west of upmarket Chelsea, the elegant area is defined by its lowkey wine bars and eateries with views of the Thames. Primarily residential, this borough boasts a relaxed ambience that’s a rare treat in a central spot. Spend afternoons hopping from art gallery to luxury boutique, pausing for sips of sauvignon blanc in between....

Have authentic Neapolitan Pizza at Santa Maria
You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better Neapolitan pizza in London: quality ingredients sourced from the homeland, slow fermentation and a wood-fire oven create pillowy crusts and blistered bases.

Dine at Eelbrook
Discover a fabulous restaurant with an airy space, heated terrace, and modern British dishes. Enjoy good food, great service, and a cool place to hang out with friends.

Have A Pint With The Locals At The Rose
Take a stroll up to this pub for a change of scenery and enjoy their beautiful garden if the weather is nice or sit inside by the cosy fire. Either way, have a drink in hand.

Check out the Spanish vibe at El Metro
A neighbourhood classic going since 1989, Spanish staples play a lead role on the menu but it's not just paella, pollo and pescado: Italian dishes, British breakfasts and burgers also feature.

Explore Market Hall Fulham
A cleverly designed food hall nestled inside Fulham's old Edwardian ticket hall. With a Shoreditch/Dulwich style vibe, it offers a diverse range of food outlets, including Butchies for chicken burgers and Fannys for Persian fries. Enjoy the good music, cocktails, and healthy food options.

Fuel yourself on game day at The Butcher's Hook
Supposedly the place where the Chelsea Football Club was founded, this local gastropub is a stone's throw away from the famed Stamford Bridge stadium.

Take a stroll down an interior design street
Head down the Fulham Road towards Brompton and you'll pass scores of independent design shops.

Feast under the fairy lights at Megan's
A neighbourhood favourite serving some of the best Mediterranean food around. The blue checked tablecloths and abundance of fairy lights make for an atmospheric setting.

Watch a match at Stamford Bridge
There's even a tour of the stadium available, for football geeks only. Home of the incredible Chelsea Football Club, it's a fun, informative and unforgettable experience.

Dine at Manuka Kitchen
Imaginative dishes made from carefully sourced produce in a cosy all-day eatery with excellent food quality and warm, genuine service. Dog and kids friendly.

The local spot for a bigger meal is Del'Aziz
Where you can gather some of your friends and family around delicious plates of mezze and surrounded by exotic colours.

Get your caffeine fix at Chairs & Coffee
Located on Fulham Broadway, this spot serves up some serious drip coffee in a very relaxed atmosphere, with chairs of course. Also with some tasty treats on the side.
