Bright swirling patterns, house plants, and window-walled views out onto the streets of Miami, this apartment brings you a taste of 70s boho chic. Its open-plan and spacious living style keeps things fresh and modern, but statement pieces of furniture and a number of accessories are unapologetically retro and give this place its charm. Right down to the lobby, period classics of oranges and brown tones, matched with wood and leather take you back to this iconic era. In the sweltering Florida summers, “you just got to learn to go with the heat, Rico.” Thankfully, access to a rooftop and balcony in the building make this a lot easier. Take a trip out to South Beach, or the green spaces of the Coconut Grove neighbourhood, which are just a short drive away. With a number of restaurants to sample along the harbour and Peacock Park to ponder your way through, this is certainly a more laid back side of the city to sample.
