Rustic on the outside, contemporary on the inside, this simple but stylish home is the kind of place that makes outdoor living easy. Ivory and straw-coloured stone surrounds a south-facing terrace with a glistening heated pool and a cool covered dining space, giving you and your family plenty of space for alfresco fun. The sturdy stone-built barbecue makes poolside dinners a breeze, and the chef can easily keep one eye on the kids in the lawned play area and another on the sizzling fresh fish. Inside, the rooms are all on the ground floor and each of the comfortable bedrooms enjoys direct access to the outdoors, making it easy to sneak off for an afternoon snooze. This is a lovely spot, surrounded by greenery with views out towards the Adriatic Sea, a 15-minute walk from the beach and an easy drive from local amenities. Plus it’s just 20 minutes by car to the terracotta rooftops of Dubrovnik’s Old Town.
