This bright villa is a modernist gem in Rijeka Dubrovačka, a valley-like inlet formed by the gleaming waters of the Ombla River. Taking full advantage of its hillside position, you can enjoy sweeping views from every single room in the home. With concrete, marble, and wood dominating the interior, the muted decor works to accentuate the striking natural beauty of the surrounding area. Scenery floods in through huge sliding glass doors and wide balconies. Enjoy a fresh Mediterranean breakfast on the terrace – the host can arrange a private chef – while overlooking the marina. Speaking of which, the host can also set you up with a private yacht for the day. The basement of the villa has some secrets you'll want to share – e-bikes, a state-of-the-art gym, and a sultry spa area complete with sauna and jacuzzi. The outside areas of the villa might further seduce you into staying here all day – with deluxe loungers, a lush garden, and swimming pool, you may not feel the need for sightseeing. However, the walled city of Dubrovnik is only a short drive away. Immerse yourself in the historic charm of the Old Town, find markets selling gorgeous Croatian lace, then dine in one of its fine restaurants – make sure to take up any offers of a traditional end-of-meal rakija.

About Croatia

Byron called Dubrovnik the “Pearl of the Adriatic” and there’s no denying the beauty of Croatia’s most popular city (the location scouts for Game of Thrones certainly thought so). Within the ancient walls of Dubrovnik, sand-hued buildings with orange rooftops jut out into the azure sea. That’s not the only pearl Croatia is hiding. Split has the narrow, timeworn streets of Diocletian’s Palace to rival Dubrovnik’s old town, and sparking...

Host

This home is managed by Oliver

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.

This home is nominated for the Plum Guide Award.
